Terms of Service
By accessing or using Kestrel AI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Use of the Service
The Service provides AI-powered satellite imagery analysis for lawful commercial and research purposes. You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the API beyond your plan's rate limits
- Resell or sublicense access to the Service without a written agreement
- Use detection results to facilitate surveillance, harassment, or harm to individuals
2. Accounts and Access
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Each plan's search limits reset on the 1st of each month. Unused searches do not roll over.
3. Satellite Imagery
Imagery fetched via address search is sourced from the Google Maps Static API and is subject to Google's Terms of Service. You may use detection results for your own analysis but may not redistribute or republish the raw imagery.
4. Billing and Cancellation
Subscriptions are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial months. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice.
5. Intellectual Property
The Kestrel AI platform, YOLOv8 model weights, and all associated software remain the property of Kestrel AI. Detection results produced from your searches are yours to use for your business purposes.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Detection accuracy is probabilistic — results should be validated before making high-stakes decisions. We are not liable for errors, omissions, or decisions made based on detection output.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kestrel AI's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid in the three months prior to the claim.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
